Gilsonite

Gilsonite is a natural, resinous hydrocarbon, in mass is a shiny, black substance, but sometimes it occurs as a brownish-black colour that is similar in appearance to coal or a hard petroleum asphalt and is often called a natural asphalt, asphaltite, uintaite, or asphaltum.

 Gilsonite is used in more than 160 products, A common application of it is in bitumen blending.
